Great team performances this morning on the Curragh for Day 1 of the Kildare A.A.I XC County Championships 2022.

The duo of Luke and Dylan ran well in the under 12 boys race, a great learning experience for the lads 💪🏻

Our under 12 girls Ella, Alicia, Erin and Nora all ran there hearts out over the 1500m trip and done there coaches very proud indeed 💙

Our 12s boys Darragh and Zach also ran well in a packed field as they completed the 1500m course for the first time 💙

The 14s girls of Katie, Danielle, Elba, Isabelle and Rhiannon all performed strongly as they just missed out on a team medal but must be very happy with there performances 💙

In the Boys 14s, Jack took home individual gold in a super close finish with 2 metres covering the first 4 boys, great result Jack 🥇 with Sean finishing in the top 10 and performing strongly 💪🏻

The boys 16s took home Team Gold 🥇 with many super performances as Cillian G took individual gold 🥇, Daniel taking individual bronze 🥉, while Eoin, Evan, Noel and Cillian G ran brilliantly to secure team gold for Celbridge 💪🏻

James moved up an age group to under 18s and ran a blinder taking home individual silver 🥈, another fabulous performance 💪🏻

The men’s Novice and Masters teams both took home team Gold 🥇💪🏻 as Stephen took individual gold in the Masters race, while John Regan took silver 🥈 in the novice and bronze 🥉 in the masters race , while brilliant runs from Danny once again, Anto, Eoin and Conor meant it was double team gold for the lads 🥇🥇

The ladies team of Jenny, Esther and Claire all ran very well but just missed out on a team medal but once again performed strongly 💙
