Juvenile section 2018


The Juvenile section caters for children from 8 years of age upwards. Younger members participate in our “Little Athletics” program which aims to introduce children to the different disciplines of athletics is a friendly fun environment, while the older children choose between a general keep fit group, a middle/long distance group and a track and field group. Juvenile members regularly compete in all aspects of athletics, from cross country and indoor athletics to outdoor track and field.

Training for Juveniles is on Tuesday and Thursday from 630pm to 730pm.

Up to the age group of u14 there are four main groups:
Little Athletics: Children age 5 – 8, plenty of activities and games.
U8 – U9: general fitness which focuses on all disciplines
U10 – U11: general fitness which focuses on all disciplines
U12 – U13: general fitness which focuses on all disciplines

From 14 years onwards, juvenile athletes can then choose to specialise in a specific discipline or, should they wish, continue to enjoy the wide range of sports on offer. For more information on different disciplines available at Celbridge AC please click here.
