Notice from Celbridge AC Committee
From Monday 18th, the club will reopen our gates. The gates will be reopened in line with the advice, rules and regulations provided by AI and Sport Ireland. The safety of our members is paramount, and we will ensure that we follow the guidelines outlined to us.
The club have appointed Derek Tipping as Safety Officer to ensure our club members can get back to training at the track in a controlled manner, and in line with the AI guidelines. There are a number of guidelines all members, coaches and athletes must follow in accordance with these guidelines
- All track use MUST be booked 24hrs in advance and permission given to train. Anybody found to be training at the track without permission, will be asked to leave.
- Please DO NOT arrive early or stay later than time allocated to you.
- All track users must be members of Celbridge AC. Names of who are training must be submitted to safety officer up to 1 hour before training and after training.
- Social Distancing behaviours & rules must be maintained AT ALL TIMES.
- Stay 2m apart from other people
- No shaking hands, high fives etc.
- DO NOT share water bottles, food, towels etc.
- Cover your cough or sneeze and dispose of any tissue used in your own bag and bring home with you.
- Avoid touching your face
- There must be no more than 4 people training in your group at any one time. This 4 includes a coach.
- No indoor facilities on track are to be used. This include toilets.
- No Celbridge AC equipment is to be used.
- Anyone with Flu like or COVID 19 symptoms are not allowed on track.
- All users of the track must have read the Athletes Guideline documents available on Celbridge AC website or can be sent to you by coach/committee.
- Athletes must bring their own hand santizer and antiseptic wipes to training
- Once training has finished, leave the track promptly.
- If anyone becomes unwell after training, first contact HSE/GP and then inform coach, safety officer or committee.
