The second Leinster competition will take place in Haywood School, Ballinakill, near Abbeyleix on Sunday next 9th November.  First race starts at 12.00 so be there around 11.00 a.m. for warm up and number.  All athletes will be informed who is taking part at training this week.  Good luck to all.

Directions:  Take Naas road N7 and continue on M7 until junction 17. Take this exit (signposted M8 Cork) and continue on this until you come to Abbeyleix.  Allow 1hr 15 mins for journey but … last year there was a major hold up in Abbeyleix so also allow for this in your travel plans. when you reach Abbeyleix you must take the left turn to Ballinakill and the cross country will be in Haywood school

Please note:  9mm - 12mm spikes should be worn to prevent slipping.

Indoor training will start on Thursday week 13th November.  U8 - u11 age groups will go indoors to the North Kildare Educate Together school (School beside the track), where they will follow Athletic Ireland’s Little athletic programme.   After 6 - 8 weeks a member from athletics Ireland will test them on their skills and award certificates.   All athletes must be a paid up member of Celbridge Athletic Club in order to take part indoors.!
All other athletes will train outdoors.

Please note new date for start of indoors.  The school is not available on the 6th as posted earlier!
