The first part of the Co. Championships took place in Newbridge on Sunday 29th April amid many changes in weather conditions. We had sun, rain, hot and cold but our athletes proved again how good they are and came away with over fifty medals. This was a factastic haul of medals and we hope that we are as successfull in part two which will be held in Naas on Sunday 13th May @ 12.00. Full results can be found on results page.
The first part of the Co. Championships will take place in Newbridge on Sunday next at 12.00 p.m. Meet 11.30 a.m. All athletes may compete in the track events but only three athletes from each club can compete in the field events.(4 in u9 & u10) Where more than three athletes in a particular age group want to compete a trial will take place or it will be up to the discretion of the coach. There is no fee for this event. Medals will be awarded on the day.

Congratulations to all athletes who took part in the first round of the league competition. Congrats to all the new athletes who competed for the first time ever in competition and did so brilliantly. Results will be posted here as I get them.
The first leg of the league will take place in Newbridge at 2.00 p.m. on Saturday next, 21st April. Meet at 1.30 p.m. for warm up. This is open to all registered athletes from u8 - u15. All athletes must wear club singlet and shorts. Entry fee 2 Euro per athlete. The first day of the Co. Championships will also take place in Newbridge at 12.00 on Sunday 29th April.

The second weekend of the All Ireland Championships took place on the 14/15th April last. Congratulations to David Campbell who got the silver medal in the boys u16 1500m walk. Congratulations also to Ronan Power, Aoife Sheehy, Karen Gernan and Philip Dunne who also competed but were just outside the medals.
Day two saw five Celbridge AC relay teams taking part. The highlight of the day was the girls u19 team winning the gold medals. All four girls ran brilliantly and deserved the success. They were Emma Commiskey, Sarah Louise McKernan, Sandra Lawler and Vicky Doyle. The boys u17 also ran a great race to take bronze medals. The team was Paul Brady, Philip Dunne, Aiden Maloney, Darragh McGee and David Campbell. The girls u13 (Christine Campion, Michelle O’Dea, Shauna Minnock, Chanice Corcoran and Emer McCormack) came 10th. The boys u15 (Luke Munroe, Ronan Power, Dylan Behan and Eoin Moore) came 6th. Tuesday 7 - 8 at Salesian College
Thursday 6.30 - 8.00 at our new track behind St. Wolstens school (last half hour to concentrate on field events).
New athletes from 7 years welcome, just come along.
